Since leaving Leeds College of Music in 1984 Nikki Iles, a wonderfully exciting and sensitive pianist, has built a multi-faceted career: leading and playing in bands; composing; in education (tutor at workshops and summer schools, Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University, Visiting Professor at various London colleges).

All vastly experienced musicians, Nikki’s colleagues will be: Dick Pearce on trumpet (Ronnie Scott’s band for 14 years); saxophonist Stan Sulzmann, in whose quartet Nikki first played in the late-1980s; bassist Malcolm Creese (11 years with Cleo Laine and John Dankworth; leader of Acoustic Triangle since 2000); playing in the Stan Tracey bands and leading his own bands, Clark Tracey on drums.

Guest admission £12.00

All meetings start at 7.45pm - doors open at 6.30pm
