Dave O’Higgins has been playing various instruments since childhood and is known for his jazz playing on tenor and soprano saxophones. He is also a writer, arranger and band leader. He has honed his jazz skills making 16 albums as leader and has spent many years on the road and in the studio with the likes of Joe Locke, Joey Calderazzo, Ray Charles, Jim Mullen, BBC Big Band, Frank Sinatra, Stan Tracey, Brubecks Play Brubeck, Darius Brubeck Quartet and Kyle Eastwood Band.
Pianist Graham Harvey studied music at Denver University, and is currently working with Stacey Kent, where his elegant style is particularly admired.
Geoff Gascoyne is on the UK's short list of most popular bass players where he is also respected as composer, arranger, producer and tutor. In a 25-year career, he has performed and recorded with Michel Legrand, Georgie Fame, Peter King and Benny Golson.
Dutch drummer, Sebastiaan de Krom, studied at Berklee School of Music and lives between London and Belgium. A previous visitor to CJC, he currently tours with Ray Gelato and is one of Europe’s most sought after players.
Expect infectiously swinging straight ahead jazz, mixing crafty originals and tender readings of melodic standards.
